Live released "Selling The Drama" as the first single off their 1994 album,
Throwing Copper.
It was the first of three singles to reach #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. It also made it to #48 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The song compares politics and religion and the similarities between the two to manipulate the public to keep them in power.
